This Tracing Tool is a great addition to your notions to have on hand for many uses! Scallops, Petals and Leaves can be drawn with ease. Use the fancy scalloped edge to draw the same shape as the tool, or shift it in different ways to make unique fancy scallops. Use one section or all of them.
The inner edge can be used to draw simple scallops, leaves (or petals of the same shape). Unbalanced leaves and petals can be drawn using the unbalanced scallop section giving you a leaf or petal that has one end wider than the other. A rounded petal can be drawn from this shape to make a rounded petal.
The Tracing Tool can also be used to create swags for Applique shapes as well as scallops along the edge of a quilt. Remember there is a fancy edge or the simple edge.
It can also be used to create vines by tracing a curve, flipping the ruler and tracing in the opposite direction.
