Learn the basics of preparing English Paper Piecing using starch with this fun little quilt project! This pattern offers a quick and easy way to learn this new basting technique for EPP and produce a beautiful, useful mug rug for your morning cup of coffee.
This pattern with 1/2" hexies produces a mug rug shape measuring about 4" across. It includes instructions and 5 precut hexie templates made of two layers of Traditional Primitives Premium Freezer Paper. These papers can be used about 20 times each so you will be able to make several mug rugs with these 5 Premium Freezer Paper shapes. A Fabric Kit adds in 31 precut fabric hexies and the backing. You will need to provide batting to complete this fun mug rug project.
