Product Description
Folk Art Whimsy is a 28" or larger block to customize as you wish. The fabric kit is $49 and includes the background and all the fabrics for the applique pieces. This project is for the block alone. You will have leftover applique’ fabrics to make more blocks or borders. At the Academy of Applique' I teach the Starch Basting techniques to make this block and finish as you wish...by making other blocks to make it larger, add your own borders or finish as it is as a small quilt. If you would like a different color background or star color, let me know and I can make the kit custom just how you will love it!
Extra fabrics are available for $13/yd if you feel you need some to complete a larger quilt. Send an email to TPQuilts@gmail.com and we can chat about which fabrics you like.
The other items in the drop down options to purchase are items I highly suggest you use for my technique. I will also have most there in class if you are unsure. Please let me know in comments or by email what extras you know you'd want so I am sure to bring enough.
