This listing is for the block For Love of Bees which was taught at the 2023 Academy of Applique. The block finishes at 24" to complete as you wish. Several have asked about making this block into a 4 block quilt.
Various optional kits are available. The pattern is $24. The fabric kit for 1 block is $96 and it includes the pattern and the fabrics. You will have leftovers of the applique fabrics to use to finish this project as you wish. The fabric kit for 4 blocks is $138.99 and includes the fabric and pattern. You will use most of the applique fabrics. The fabrics for kits will have substitutions as many of the originals are sold out. Please leave a comment at check out if you want me to send pics or do a video chat to see the substitution options. I will choose fabrics that will look just as lovely for the project.
Extra background fabric, for a border for example, is available for $13 per yard. Add the amount you want to your cart an I will make sure it coordinates. Thread kits are available for $50.50 and contain 9 colors of 80 and 100 weight poly threads that match the fabric kits. These are Missie's favorites to stitch with to get wonderful invisible results.
Also listed above are Missie's original notions which help make starch basting very precise and much easier. Feel free to watch the videos in the video section of the website. These are strongly suggested for this project. Other items needed are listed above as well.
