This listing is for the wall hanging For Love of Bees. In April of 2026 I will be teaching the quilt shown with the starburst borders at Empty Spools Seminars in California. It finishes at 45.5". I've also posted a blog about it on the home page of this website. I highly suggest purchasing the notions I use as they are unique to my method of starch basting and I am not able to bring them to sell at the event.
The pattern with the borders is $32 and is available now. If you purchased this pattern as a block previously, please reach out to Missie at TPQuilts@gmail.com and she will offer you a partial pattern at a discounted price that contains the border only to add to your block pattern. The Fabric kit for the quilt is $130 and includes fabrics for the project with the two borders and is available now. The binding is sold separately for $6.50 and will be the color of the last border unless you want to let me know if you want a different color. The pattern will be included in your lab kit for those attending Empty Spools - $28. You will have leftovers of the applique fabrics. The fabrics for kits will have substitutions as many of the originals are sold out. The subs will be very similar and I will choose fabrics that will look just as lovely for the project. Currently I still have the darling background in stock so if you want to purchase more fabric for more borders reach out soon.

Thread kits are available for $65 and contain 10 colors of 80 and 100 weight poly threads that match the fabric kits. These are Missie's favorites to stitch with to get wonderful invisible results.
Also listed above are Missie's original notions which help make starch basting very precise and much easier. Feel free to watch the videos in the video section of the website. These are strongly suggested for this project. Other items needed are listed above as well.
