This listing is for In the Valley, a 24" block. The pattern is $24 and we are also offering the pattern with the pre-printed templates on Ultimate Freezer Paper for $34. The templates are doubled and ready for you to cut out. All shapes needed for the block are included in the template pack, meaning you don't have to count anything to make all the shapes...just cut and GO!

Add them to your cart and then come back to this page. you could also choose The EPP Starter kit from the drop down menu which is geared towards English Paper Piecing basting with starch, but is the same idea for prepping applique shapes.
I'm offering a large fabric kit that will leave you with extra applique fabric so that you can add blocks or borders to make this a larger quilt. If you decide to make your quilt much larger, you’ll most likely need to add more fabric variety in, but this will give you a great start.
The threads I love to use the most are 100 weight Microquilter and Decobob. They are my very favorites to use and they make SUCH a difference in relaxed, invisible stitching. The colors I used are Dark Red, Dark Brown, Ivory, Cream Dark Green, Medium Grey, Medium Green, Dark Grey and Dark Gold.
The other items in the drop down are items you will need to make the project using Missie’s method of starch basting.
The Clover MCI900 mini iron is the one I prefer to make the small shapes with.
Fray Check will be very helpful for the inner points to prevent any fraying.
The bottle for Fray Block is very helpful to stay organized. It has a tiny brush in the lid for application so just the right amount goes on the fabric for you. I love it!
