Missie uses this long reach stapler to staple the wool applique' shapes in place. Even when using glue stick or fusible, those adhesives give away as we stitch on the quilt. The staples will hold the pieces in place while you stitch without anything to catch your thread like a pin would allow. They are very easy to remove! Just pinch the fabric under the staple and it will slide right out of the fabric.
