This quilt is made from cottons and woolens. At 72" square it will fit right on the top of a king sized bed along the edge of the mattress or would look wonderful on the diagonal, draping off of the sides on a smaller bed. It also makes a wonderful wall hanging. The background is cotton and the pennies and applique are both cottons and woolens. The center is constructed with 16 blocks, making it very easy to stitch the pennies by hand. The applique' shapes can be done by hand or machine.
**The background fabric shown in the photo is no longer available. If you order a kit, the fabric I will send is different, but something I would use if I made the quilt again today. All other fabrics will be similar to what you see in the photo.
