Pretty Peacock is a 24" applique design. What you see in the photo is finished with a border print fabric, but now that the fabric is just about all gone, the pattern includes instructions for an applique' border. Consider using cute little buttons for the tiny flowers or little yoyo flowers as well as traditional applique methods. The pattern includes instructions for prepared edge applique shapes that are prepped with starch using Missie's unique methods. The pattern is $24 and the fabric kit is $51.50 and is currently available with the border print fabric (But not for long!). Thread kits are available for $39.95.
Important notions to search for on the website that will help this go easier are the Starch Basting notions we created for the applique technique. Starch Brush, Premium Starch, Fingertip Stiletto, Ultimate Freezer Paper and the Hexie Pressing Mat are the most important for preparing the starched shapes. Missie's Favorite Needles for EPP and Applique are great for making invisible stitches along with thin poly threads that are 80 or 100 weight.
