I've listed out important notions I love to use for wool applique. These make the process easier and faster for me and I know they will help you too! The Wool and Needle Turn Applique' Freezer Paper is great for getting your design cut out and is a great bargain at 75 pages for $9.99. The Kai scissors I offer are super sharp and are economical. It's good to have both sizes on hand for cutting large or small and detailed shapes from wool or cotton. The Longarm Stapler is wonderful for holding the shapes in place- weather you glue or fuse- they will stay in place with this stapler that reaches far into your blocks. The Traditional Primitives Wool Applique' needles are wonderful for all common embroidery threads but 8 pearl cottons. You will see they glide right through cotton and wool layers wonderfully! For this project you'll also need a bigger eyed needle for one of the threads so I'm offering the Chenille's along with my wool applique needles. You will most likely need a simple threader to thread your needle. I offer the Roxanne Threader as it is durable and economical. I prefer using glue stick to adhere the applique' shapes and I offer the brand I think works the best and doesn’t fry up quickly. The thimbles I love are stick on and you cut to the size you need. They are reusable and you won't even know you have it on your finger! If you need a little help seeing the needle eye, the Finger Magnifier is super handy for threading!
