Wow!  I've been waiting to be able to share that I will be teaching at Empty Spools Seminars in northern California next spring.  This event takes place at Asilomar Conference Center near Monterey.  It's on the coast and looks wonderful!  Walking paths, beautiful views and learning about Applique and English Paper Piecing with others who love stitching as much as you do!  What could be better?!?  Its a retreat style get away!

In this class we will learn to make complicated looking quilts with ease!  My methods for starch basting prepared edge applique' shapes make the process so easy and accurate!  We will touch on small shapes and very small stems.  You will be amazed at how simply these shapes are created.  We will also learn English Paper Piecing as an option for accurate and speedy piecing of the sunburst borders using the same starch basting method.  It's a great alternative basting method for EPP, especially small shapes!
