This listing is for the design, Coeur de Alene. This lovely 66” square design is made with a touch of English Paper Piecing and Broderie Perse along with Applique' techniques. Hand and machine Applique techniques are explained as well as Missie’s method of basting EPP with starch. Lots of great info! Be sure to look at the drop down menu to choose from several fabric kits offered, including the full kit for the quilt as shown above with appliqued borders, a bundle of special fabric used for the birds and floral broderie perse applique (**the small floral print in kits is now a similar substitution), background and scallop kit or backing kit. We are offering the thread kit of 4 fine threads for the applique' sewing. These are 4 colors of Microquilter 100 weight poly for $32. We are also offering a separate thread kit for the embroidery added to the border. This is 4 colors of beautiful wool embroidery threads that match the fabric colors wonderfully, for $52. Also, choose from the list of supplies used to make the quilt.
