Early American Spirit-Eagle is the beginning of a larger project! This will make a wonderful quilt center that's all about life in the early days of America. We begin with the beautiful bald eagle block...inspired by the antique brass mirrors with filagree florals. This block is 24" square and is surrounded by a lovely dog tooth border to accent the block. The pattern is available for $24. A fabric kit is available for $49.50 and you will have leftovers for other blocks in this project or for other projects in the future. The background fabric may be different than what is shown in the photo but all other fabrics are the same at this time. Eventually some fabrics may need to be substituted.
Be sure to use the original notions Missie has created for Applique' and EPP found HERE. These products really make the process of starch basting and building units like the eagle much easier and more precise than needle turn.
