Winter Bouquet, previously known as Colonial Tablescape taught at the Academy of Applique 2023, is a 17” x 30” dimensional wool applique’ project. The pattern is $24. A fabric kit with pattern is offered for $114 and contains woolens, backing wool, fusible adhesive, fusible interfacing, and floral wire. A limited number of kits identical to this photo above are available. I will let you know before shipping if i will need to replace the background with the cotton fabric described below and get your approval.
A fabric kit is also offered with matching background to the 2022 wool project, Colonial Holidays. The price is $78. The background is a greenish grey toned cotton homespun and is shown in the photo above where the applique is zoomed in. This kit contains the items listed above, but does not have a backing, fusible (because it won’t be needed) or binding.
A thread kit of 9 different colors is offered for $36 and contains Weeks, Valdani, Sulky and Wonderfil threads that match and accent the woolens in the kit perfectly.
Other items listed above are some of my favorite notions I use when I sew wool applique. They really make a difference in the ease and enjoyment of wool applique.
